In our fourth episode of the Theodore Roosevelt series, Roosevelt returns once again to Washington, this time as Assistant Secretary of the Navy.  But soon after, the United States goes to war with Spain over their occupation of the island of Cuba.  Roosevelt thus resigns his post to volunteer in the army and lead a regiment that would come to be known as the "The Rough Riders" down to Cuba so that he can finally have his opportunity to experiene glory in battle.
